Black (blood) Pudding
Now when you see pudding, you probably thinking about Bill Cosby chocolate pudding commercials. Well black pudding is nothing like that. Black or sometimes called blood pudding is exactly that.....BLOOD. Usually eaten at breakfast, pigs,beef or even chicken blood is used to make this meal. It is usually frozen and once cooked it like a big piece of meat.
It is prepared and seasoned with a variety of spices and seasons and cooked in a frying pan.
I personally have never had it but I have seen my dad, aunts, uncles an even a cousin enjoy it with bread and a cup of tea as a breakfast meal. They say its really good. I have also read articles where there were health risks by consuming this but I haven't heard or seen anyone get sick.
So what do you think, do you want a taste?

Man I hate Black pudding thats like one of my mothers favorite dishes it just looks disgusting if you know what i mean
This is my first time ever hearing of black pudding.It doesn't sound to tasty. I'd probably try it anyway just to see for myself.
We have something similar to Black pudding in Indonesia. It's usually chicken or cow's blood. It's mixed with different spices and then it's steamed. Before you eat it, you cut it up and then you fry it. I've tasted it. It's not that bad but it's still got that slight bloody taste.
"Black, Blood Pudding",the hell! I have never heard of that b4 and I don't think that's something I would want to try, and I don't mean it in a bad way. At least I learned something new today.

Eating blood is a dreadful sin for eating the blood of an animal is eating the soul of that animal. The same for eating pigs, let alone drinking their blood.

Black Blood Pudding. Sound crazy. I know everybody have the traditions and cultures, so to each is own. you should try some steam fish with ockro yardii style
lol@ Steam fish with ockro. Man i honestly do not think this is a Trini thing but me personally think its DISGUSTING!!!!! I lived next door to a lady that made a killing on weekends selling Black Pudding, Souse, Bread, Drops etc. Out of all the things she made, i never tried that
